Long overdue! ...Europe!

Ok so this is waaaaaay past due! But I at least needed to document a little bit about it! I have way better pics stored on my hard drive but I am being lazy and posting this from my phone :) so you get a short sweet condensed version of this amazing trip! Sorry. :)

So my mom, dad, Tiffany, and I got to go pick my sister up from her mission in September! It really was such a neat experience and I really loved every second! Brittny served in the Netherlands/Belgium mission. So we were able to visit Amsterdam, Den Haag, Zutermier, Bruges, Paris, and more! Every place we went was full of culture and great people. It was so fun to explore and create memories with our little bunch!

The people there LOVED Britt! All the people who knew her spoke so highly of her and it was so cool to hear all of the wonderful things they had to say! She definitely had a very successful mission! While we were in Zutermier we were able to attend the beautiful temple and do a session. It was beautiful and such a cool experience! There were many converts going through for the first time and it was such a sweet thing to get to experience it with them.

We road bikes through the beautiful streets of holland and saw the most charming cottages and windmills. I'm pretty sure my parents where ready to buy a house there right away. My mom loved it and so did I! Everyone is always out and about riding their bicycles everywhere! (That is how they can afford to eat the delicious pastries in all their darling shops! They work off those calories on their bikes! Ha). But seriously don't even get me started on the pastries...they are DEVINE!

Paris was a dream. Literally. It was so gorgeous and romantic! I am definitely going back their with Joel and at least staying for a week or two just in that city! The buildings, the culture, the art, and the food was all perfection! There was gorgeous flower shops everywhere lining the streets! The 'Lock Bridge' was so cute with everyone's locks glistening in the sun representing people's eternal love locked in place. From afar it looked as if the bridge was made of gold from all of the shiny locks. Loved it!

Notre Dame was simply amazing as well! We even got to feed the birds :) (for real though! I have picture on my hard drive to prove it :) haha)

Bruges was a beautiful historic town in Belgium. They are famous for their chocolate among other things and boy it did not disappoint! Charming is the word I would use to describe it. Horse drawn carriages where bustling about the streets and cathedrals where placed on many corners. The cobble stone streets were beautiful and the little lakes were as still as glass. Picture perfect really. We loved that place!

The whole trip was awesome and there are so many stories I could share, but that would just take way to long! So here is just a little glimpse. :)

Enjoy! And I hope you all make it to Europe one day if you haven't already. It really is an experience of a lifetime!

Xoxo, Chanty
