Benson Reunion 2012

We were lucky enough to go to the reunion this summer! It was so fun to see family and be in the beautiful mountains! I sure love grandpa Bensons land! It is so refreshing and peaceful up there. Presley loved it too! She loves being outside so she was in heaven. Sadly she was sick, but thankfully we had gone to the doctors right before we left for Wyoming and the doctor got her on an antibiotic and that sure helped! She was a trooper!
The last night it was rainy and chilly and I was worried about Pres. MontaFaye totally came to the rescue and offered for us to stay in her guest cabin (which is gorgeous and lovely!!) So we took her up on it and slept like angels in a toasty cabin with a wonderful fireplace right by our bed! Heavenly! Then we got up and went to the twins farewell! I still can't believe that those boys are all grown up and going on missions!! Micah, David, Stratton, and Ezra all spoke and did an awesome job. It was a great meeting and it was awesome to be able to be there and support them.
All in all the weekend was so great and I already miss being up there. And I'm so glad Presley likes camping. It is after all in her blood. ;)

Summerfest!

We got to go to Summerfest this weekend and it was a lot of fun! Mainly we love the snowcones and people watching ;) haha but we were excited to let Presley experience all the fun rides (age appropriate of course)! She loved the merry-go-round. She got comfortable real quick and then decided she needed to ride it standing up on her tippy toes of course! She was a riot! Sure love that silly baby of mine! :)

Trip to Zion

So we decided to do a random get away to Zion National Park! It was so much fun!! Some of the hikes we did were the emerald pools, the grotto, weeping rock, river walk, the narrows, and just exploring the great outdoors!!

We stayed in St. George and took Presley swimming for the fist time. She was a little unsure about it at first but quickly warmed up an started splashing away!! She loved it! It was a much needed get away and felt so good to explore the beautiful outdoors with my little family. Presley was a sport and put up with our crazy adventures! She turned into a hiking machine by the end! Any time we would stop she would whine because there was too many things she wanted to see and she wanted us to keep moving! :) haha.

It was a blast, thanks hun for the trip!

String Cheese

In Presley's mind string cheese is better than Disney Land. I let her try it for the first time today and she LOVED it to say the least! Haha here are some pics from our string cheese experience. :) Enjoy!
